T'way Air is liable for baggage damage only when caused by the company's intentional acts or negligence during transport, storage, or handling.
For checked baggage, under the Montreal Convention, airline liability is capped at 1,519 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) per passenger.
Under the Warsaw Convention, liability is limited to 250 French Gold Francs per kilogram or equivalent (approximately USD 20.00),
within proven damage amount. For damaged baggage, submit written claims within 7 days of receipt. For delayed or lost baggage, submit claims within 21 days of baggage check-in.
Damage to checked baggage must be reported immediately upon arrival at the airport, at the baggage claim area, to our staff.
If damage is not reported at the airport, the baggage will be considered properly delivered, and any subsequent claim may be restricted or denied.
If it was unavoidably impossible to report the damage at the airport, you must submit supporting evidence proving that the damage occurred during transportation within 7 days of receiving your baggage.
Claims without sufficient evidence may be restricted or denied.
Fragile or perishable items, including medical supplies
Normal wear and tear such as scratches, dents, stains, compression marks from routine handling. Loss/damage to external parts like locks, name tags, protective covers, belts, cup holders, or detachable components such as stroller sunshades (including consumables and accessories).
Damage to liquid containers (cosmetics, honey, alcohol, etc.) and resulting content damage or spillage.
Damage due to overpacking or exceeding baggage capacity
Valuables that are difficult to assess including cash, jewelry, precious metals, securities, contracts, academic documents, passports, IDs, samples, or antiques
Lock damage from security checks or film damage from X-ray screening
Damage to special items (musical instruments, golf clubs, sports equipment) not stored in hard cases (special packaging container) or properly packed

Attention
· The virtual account and reservation information will be sent to the cell phone number provided when making a reservation.
· You can make a deposit to the virtual account any time after making a reservation but before the payment deadline.
· If you do not make a payment by the payment deadline, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
· When you click the [make payment] button below, you will automatically be issued a virtual account number. The payment deadline is subject to change.
· Changes may not be made once a reservation is made. If you would like to make changes, please cancel the reservation and proceed with a new reservation. (In case of the above, the amount may differ from the initially reserved amount. A cancellation penalty may apply, subject to the selected fare.)
· For a cash receipt, please call reservation center to be issued one.
