Free carry-on baggage information

• It refers to a portable baggage available for carrying in a cabin for convenient travel and safety of a customer.
• As for the allowed quantity of the portable baggage of a code share flight, regulation of the relevant carrier is applied.

• Excess carry-on baggage must be checked in. A fees applies to baggage checked in at a boarding gate as specified below.

• For passengers' convenience and in-flight safety, travel amenities that may restrict access to emergency exits/aisles or disturb other passengers are not allowed to be used in the cabin. However, they may be carried on as long as the size fits within the carry-on item standard.
  (e.g. Bed Box, Fly Legs Up, Fly-Tot, Plane Pal, Inflatable Cube etc.)
• For interline itineraries, the regulations of the operating carrier for the respective sector will apply.

Free checked baggage information

• It refers to a baggage which issued a baggage tag after a customer request an airline to consign a baggage.
• ※ Due to aircraft loading restrictions, checked baggage acceptance and loading may not be possible.
• ※ As for the allowable quantity of the baggage of a code share flight, regulation of the regulation of a relevant carrier is applied.

Free checked baggage items

• checked baggage which meets the allowable amount criteria as above
  a sporting gun and guns for self-protection which are disassembled and packed in an additional container and does not contain gun powder(limited to the case where a person permited to carry or use guns presents in advance).

Dometsic flight

• spprting gun and gun power which is safe against movement or shooting because an explosive or ignition device is removed and it is packed in a wooden or metal box(within 5kg or 11 pounds)
  weapons possessed by a person with special permission to implement a task under the law, however the person should present a written permission for possessing a weapon and the weapon should be handed over to a crew for storage

International flight

• In principle, guns are not objects for transporation and boarding can be rejected if consignment of a gun is requested.
  a small-sized oxygen cylinder carried for medical purpose.
  Wheelchair with a separated battery. However the battery should be safely packed to prevent leakage of liquid or short circuit and it should be transported as a checked baggage.

Information of the allowable amount of a free checked baggage

Dometsic flight

• processing fee of a checked baggage at a boarding gate
  You have to pay a fee and the fare of a checked baggage according to the allowable standard of a carry-on, if consignment is processed at a boarding gate by exceeding the allowable standard of a carry-on on the date of departure.
• in case the size of a carry-on exceeds : charge a fee for processing a checked baggage per bag
• in case the weight of a carry-on exceeds : charge a checked-baggage fare per kg and a fee for processing a checked baggage per bag
• implementation date of a domestic flight : July 2nd, 2018(on the basis of a boarding date)

• The sum of width+vertical+height is 203cm and under.
  - There may be restrictions on the maximum height of each dimension depending on the country/airport.
  - For routes to the U.S.(Guam/Saipan), the total dimensions of one piece of checked baggage must not exceed 158 cm.
  
• ※ The weight of one piece of checked baggage can not exceed 32 kg. If exceeded, it must be packed separately.
 
• Baggage weight can be pooled among family members or companions traveling together.

• However, baggage weight pooling is not permitted on routes to/from the U.S (Guam/Saipan), Canada (Vancouver), Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar), and Uzbekistan (Tashkent).

Golf Club

• It is subject to the regulation of a general checked baggage without charging an additional special baggage fare and please comply with the following precaution measures.
• A golf club(even if it is a single club) should be consigned because it is prohibited to be carried in the cabin under the Law of Air Safety and Security.
• You can reduce a driver damage risk by placing a cap(head) in the opposite direction of the baggage belt proceeding direction in case of the check-in of a golf bag and to prevent a scratch, you are recommended to pack an expensive bag in natural leather covered with a cloth bag.

Stroller

• Please pack (e.g., vinyl, cover) and check in the stroller to prevent scratches, wear, and contamination that may occur during the general baggage handling process.
• It is recommended to remove additional consumables and accessories that are likely to be damaged or lost, such as awning and cup holders that can be removed from the stroller and brought into the cabin.

Interline Itinerary

• For transfers within 24 hours, the baggage rules of the Most Significant Carrier (MSC) will apply.
  MSC refers to the airline operating the primary or longest sector of the journey, as defined by IATA regulations.
• For stopovers exceeding 24 hours, the regulations of each operating carrier will apply.
• However, for itineraries to or from the United States and Canada, the baggage rules of the first carrier indicated on the ticket will apply to the entire journey.
