Despite the name change, T’way Plus benefits, reservations, and flight operations remain the same and continue to be provided without any changes.
Recommended questions [Homepage] I have legally changed my name. Can I change the membership information?
If you have legally changed your name and wish to change the membership information accordingly, please send us the extract of your resident register that indicates your name before and after the change. We will change your name accordingly.
You can attach the extract to your request posting in the 1:1 Question page in T’way Air website and let the Customer Service Center know, for a swift processing.

Recommended questions [baggage] Is it possible to combine the weight of checked baggage between members of the party?
Yes, it is possible to combine the weight of baggage between family members and group members.
- Baggage weight cannot be combined on the following routes: Guam, Saipan, Ulaanbaatar, Tashkent, and Vancouver.
The weight of one piece of checked baggage is limited to 32kg or less.

In the case of auxiliary batteries, please follow the following precautions and carry them into the aircraft.
1. Please carry portable batteries with you (do not store them in overhead bins).
2. If your portable battery overheats, please inform a crew member immediately.
3. Please cover the terminals of the power bank with insulating tape to avoid contact with metal, or store it in a plastic bag.
4. Charging power banks and electronic cigarettes using in-flight power supply is prohibited.

Question [At airport] Can I bring hot beverages on board?
Domestic flights – Hot beverages may be brought on board; however, they may be restricted for safety reasons during the flight.
International flights – Beverages (such as juice or coffee) purchased in the duty-free area after passing through the security checkpoint may be carried on board. However, hot beverages are not permitted.

Question [Ticket] How do I issue a proof of travel ?
1. Online Issuance Procedure
- For website/app purchasers (must be a registered member): Go to My Reservations → Itinerary Details → View Boarding Confirmation.
- For travel agency or third-party website purchasers: Go to My Reservations → Find by Reservation Information → Reservation Lookup → View Boarding Confirmation.
2. Airport Issuance Procedure
- Passenger themselves: Issuance is available on-site upon presenting valid identification.
- Passengers under 14 years old: Consent from a legal guardian is required. The guardian must present their ID along with a resident registration certificate or family relation certificate issued within the last 3 months.
- Proxy: Must present the passenger’s ID, a power of attorney, and the passenger’s official seal certificate issued by a public authority.

Question [At airport] When taking an international flight, are there any documents required to bring a dog or cat on board?
From March 27, 2023, pet companion service in cabin for international flight is available only for dogs or cats.
For international flights, as the quarantine regulations and required documents are different between the departure and arrival locations, be sure to check with the Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock Quarantine Headquarters or the embassy of the country of departure and arrival.
You are responsible for prepare quarantine documents for companion animals.
When transporting a pet, it may not be allowed to be brought in according to the regulations of the destination country, and in this case, you will have to bear all costs for returning the pet.
